ABOUT OUR FOUNDER
Jessica was diagnosed with Stage 4, Triple Negative Breast Cancer in 2019. She was coura'Jess throughout her fight and was determined to find peace during the most difficult time of her life. She would not let her diagnosis define who she was.
Jess found peace in her holistic and medical journey as she was able to take on her terminal diagnosis with grace. She included her three children, Dylan, Rylee, and Liam in this journey, and she was able to live her most positive life. Jessica created this foundation with the intent to help others who are also going through similar circumstances. In her honor, we intend to introduce and make available to others the benefits of a holistic lifestyle.
OUR MISSION
Inspired by Jessica Rutkowski’s unwavering spirit, our foundation is dedicated to transforming the cancer experience through holistic care. We offer a sanctuary of healing, providing massages, salt therapy, aromatherapy, reiki, float tank therapy, and crystal meditations to nurture the well-being of individuals facing cancer. Our compassionate community and innovative approach aim to empower each patient, helping them to embrace life’s beauty and find peace and strength in their journey.

We are grateful to partner with local holistic wellness businesses throughout NEPA to provide a range of supportive services, including Reiki, massage therapy, halotherapy, and float tank therapy. Below, you’ll find a list of our valued partners who help make this possible.

CHEMO CARE BAGS
In addition to these services, we also donate Chemo Care Bags to cancer centers in Dunmore, Wilkes-Barre, and Dickson City. These thoughtfully curated bags contain essential comfort items for patients undergoing chemotherapy and radiation, such as activity books, lip balm, lotion, fuzzy socks, and more.
We’re always looking for inspiration. If you would like to donate comfort items for those currently going through chemotherapy or radiation, reach out to us, we’d love to collaborate!
OUR SOFTBALL TOURNAMENT
Every year, our community comes together for one of our favorite traditions—our all-day softball tournament benefiting our foundation. What started as a simple idea to honor Jessica's love for softball has grown into an annual event with 12+ teams, friendly competition, and an atmosphere everyone looks forward to.
This double-elimination tournament keeps the energy high from the first pitch to the championship game. While the teams battle it out on the field, spectators can enjoy great food, good company, and our dozens of raffle baskets, which are always a crowd favorite.
What makes this event truly special is its purpose. Every dollar—from team entry fees to concession stand purchases to raffle tickets—goes directly into our foundation, allowing us to support individuals facing cancer here in NEPA. Your participation makes a real, local impact.
Our 2025 tournament has already wrapped up, and it was another incredible success thanks to our dedicated teams, volunteers, and supporters.
